Privacy Policy
PDF Reader is provided by MP Apps LLC, operating under the Appsidy name. This policy explains how the PDF Reader mobile app handles information.
Your PDF documents
PDF Reader works with PDF files that you open or select through your device's file and folder controls, or that you intentionally send to the app from another app. PDF contents, filenames, reading position, favorites, annotations, and library metadata are processed on your device. The app may create an app-private local copy of an imported PDF so it remains available in your library after the original provider stops granting access.
PDF Reader does not upload your PDF documents or their contents to Appsidy servers.
Network, analytics, advertising, and accounts
The current mobile release does not include an advertising SDK, analytics SDK, account or sign-in system, cloud sync, or in-app billing. The Android app does not request Internet access. We do not sell personal information and we do not share app data with advertisers.
File access
On Android, PDF Reader uses the operating system's Storage Access Framework and other user-directed document controls. It accesses only files or folders you select or items you explicitly open with the app. The release does not request Android's broad All files access permission or legacy shared-storage permission.
On iOS, access is similarly limited to documents or folders you select, files received through the share/open flow, and the app's own private storage.
Printing, sharing, and external actions
If you choose to print, share, export, or open a PDF with another app, PDF Reader hands the selected document to the operating-system service or destination you choose. Any processing performed by that external app, printer service, or provider is governed by that provider's own privacy terms.
Local storage and retention
Library metadata, preferences, thumbnails, and app-managed PDF copies are stored locally on your device. App-managed copies remain until you remove the item, clear the library or app data, or uninstall the app. Removing a PDF from PDF Reader does not silently delete the original file outside the app unless you explicitly choose an operation that acts on that original file.
Children
PDF Reader is a general-purpose document utility and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It does not provide accounts, social features, targeted advertising, or behavioral profiling.
Changes to this policy
If a future version adds features that materially change how information is handled, this policy will be updated before or with that release.
